“After a very convincing system demonstration at the PMR-Expo 2015, we decided to purchase a CommandX “starter package” with four workstations.

We chose the software based on the intuitive operation, the clear display of all the relevant information and the reasonable price.

Following a short training period, the system was first introduced in the framework of the operational command of the emergency services on Carnival Monday (Rosenmontag) 2016.

This was not staffed as a command centre. The individual functions were:

- Officer in charge

- Incident log

- Remote communication unit

-  In addition, a contact emergency service was sent to the command centre and integrated via a separate CommandX

The overall feedback of the user after the deployment was very positive.

The functions were described as highly intuitive and simple to use.

For obvious reasons, we will need to refit at least one monitor for every workstation in the command centre in order to enable a continuous display of CommandX without a window change being required.

The same applies to the unit overview in operations command. We will ensure the possibility of a separate display there as well.

We will continue to develop this solution and integrate our mobile command units in the future as well, according to the budget.

We are looking forward to further cooperation with Eurocommand.
