Just in time for PMRExpo, Europe’s leading trade fair for secure communications, taking place in Cologne from November 28 to 30, 2023, Eurocommand GmbH is announcing a partnership with the public IT service provider Dataport, in which security is the top priority. Together, they have developed an alerting and staff availability app, which will be launched in mid-2024. Eurocommand was awarded the contract in this year’s Europe-wide Dataport tender.

Cooperation on Digital Sovereignty and Security
A secure system – the Workforce Manager and AlertX
Eurocommand GmbH, which offers the CommandX electronic command and control system as an integrated solution for risk and crisis management, will launch the app under the name AlertX. Dataport will deploy the app under the name dKräftemanager. The app is designed for public safety agencies and organizations (BOS) and companies with critical infrastructure (KRITIS), and is also suitable for municipal administrations and state-level solutions. In the initial phase of the market launch, Eurocommand will focus primarily on fire departments, while Dataport will concentrate on police departments.
Highest security standards with BSI certification
The app, which is available for both Android and iOS, was developed in accordance with the strict security requirements of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). Digital security and secure IT infrastructures are of the highest priority for the relevant user group, as they work with sensitive data at all times. Resource Overview and Alerts via Mobile Phone for Android and iOS
The app offers a comprehensive system for mobilizing personnel—from municipal organizations, such as crisis response teams, to volunteer fire departments—including alerts via text message or push notification, an overview of available personnel (availability status), and a check-in function.
Thanks to the full integration of the CommandX platform and the use of CIMGate Connect, the system offers full interface compatibility with all available control center systems. In addition, a dispatch information monitor (WIS) is integrated, displaying the incident location on a map along with the units dispatched, their locations, and their statuses.
For day-to-day operational management, the app offers a messaging service and a calendar feature.
The AlertX app will be showcased for the first time at PMRExpo at the Eurocommand GmbH booth. (Hall 8.1, Booth B010/C011)
