CommandX.TRAINER

The training tool for practicing complex emergency scenarios in CommandX.

Comprehensive training tool

The training module enables training instructors to comprehensively plan complex training scenarios for staff exercises or other training events in advance. The training module can also be used if CommandX is not being used during the exercise.

 

 

Dynamic training manual

CommandX.Trainer offers a wide range of tools that have been developed by experts from various organizations and management levels and tested and optimized as part of a project at a state firefighting academy. Each exercise scenario created can be played back at different difficulty levels using a “swipe button” and manually adjusted by the training staff. These adjustments automatically result in changes to the order of the recordings and the timing of events.

Exercise progress in the timeline

The timeline provides a continuous overview of the progress of the exercise. The exercise progress is displayed as a timeline, with the current time shown in the middle of the module. Events in the script can be moved, edited, or deleted using simple drag-and-drop to control the progress of the exercise. All changes are automatically updated in the timeline.

 

 

Dynamic situation overview

In the CommandX Trainer module, the situation is displayed in real time on a situation map, just as it would be in real life. All events from the script are interactively linked to the situation overview. The situation overview changes accordingly depending on the timeline and the decisions made. Exercise participants have access to the current situation overview at all times, while the exercise leaders also monitor the planned development of the situation.

Arrival time matrix

To make the exercise as realistic as possible, the system offers the use of a so-called arrival time matrix. This matrix contains the location of the incident and the locations of all available forces in order to precisely define the arrival times of the units after the alarm has been raised. Alternatively, individual travel times for the respective units can also be stored.

 

 

Central storage of exercise documents

The central document archive is a collection of various documents that play a relevant role in the course of the exercise. The folder structure and the file formats used can be adapted to suit individual requirements. Exercise participants can access these documents at any time.

CommandX.TRAINER is an efficient tool for planning complex exercises. Pre-planned scenarios can be dynamically adapted to the course of the exercise. The tool is also suitable for exercise preparation, even if CommandX is not used during the exercise.
