Unified command software “CommandX” for disaster response in the state of Lower Saxony

As part of her summer tour this year, Lower Saxony’s Minister of the Interior, Daniela Behrens, visited the district of Uelzen. In the modern command centers, Ms. Behrens was given a demonstration of the CommandX command software, using the 2023 flooding at Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen (Heidekreis district) as a case study. ...

New location in Lübeck strengthens CommandX.AWARE and its international focus

Eurocommand GmbH is expanding its presence and is now also represented in Lübeck. The new address in the Hanseatic city—Herrendamm 45, 23556 Lübeck—is part of our long-term growth strategy and serves as an official Eurocommand location with clearly defined areas of responsibility and international significance.

The new location will focus on the further development and support of our innovative CommandX.AWARE product line. This forward-looking expansion of our CommandX platform focuses on the digitalization and automation of industrial processes, particularly in the area of modern IoT solutions and telemetry applications. The goal is to make complex data streams usable in real time and to integrate them efficiently into existing systems.

In addition, the Lübeck team will take over the management of customer relationships resulting from the acquisition of the former VecCtor GmbH. In doing so, we ensure a seamless transition and guarantee our customers continuity and quality in service and project support.

The location features modern shared office workspaces that meet Eurocommand standards and is closely integrated into our company-wide infrastructure. In addition, Lübeck plays a key role in our international expansion, particularly in the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region. There, we are strategically expanding our activities in the areas of technological security solutions and digitalization.

CommandX.AWARE is a powerful platform for capturing, processing, and visualizing live data from a wide variety of sources—particularly for IoT devices. Currently, central data management is handled via the SER.Gate data hub, which will be replaced in the future by its advanced successor, CIMgate.CONNECT. The platform is continuously optimized not only to collect data but also to make it usable in context.

The technical architecture of CommandX.AWARE is based on modern technologies and built on a microservices architecture. This enables a vertically and horizontally scalable, highly available, and high-performance solution that can be used both as a private on-premises cloud and in public clouds.

The launch of CommandX.AWARE is scheduled for summer 2025. Full integration into the CommandX platform is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. This will lay the foundation for the next generation of industrial digitalization solutions—flexible, scalable, and future-proof.

VecCtor GmbH was a company specializing in IoT and Industry 4.0 solutions with numerous successful projects both domestically and internationally. Of particular note is the development of the SER.Gate® platform, which was deployed worldwide, including in Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. By strategically acquiring expertise and customer relationships from the former VecCtor portfolio, Eurocommand is continuing its growth strategy and strengthening its own technological foundation.

As part of the integration, we are also expanding our team. With new staff and additional expertise, we are consistently building out our position in the field of IoT and data platforms. Together with our customers, we develop powerful solutions that set new standards both technologically and strategically.

We look forward to the next steps and to working together—toward a digital future and robust solutions in civil protection.
