We began looking for our out-of-date control software in 2015. We saw different systems in the Interschutz convention, but it became clear very quickly that Eurocommand GmbH’s CommandX would come out on top.

After we had convinced the administration, the procurement was initiated at the end of 2015. The installation on two mobile servers, two workstations, two notebooks and a surface tablet is already completed.  Ten additional notebooks are in procurement as replacements.

We will introduce the system at different command levels whereby parallel application is also possible.

The different scenarios are:

• TEL as operative-tactical command and control in emergency services

• Incl. remote control and communication unit and/or command vehicle

• Incl. extended digital location map on 65 inch Smartboard®

• TEL rescue service

• Support of organisation command of rescue services and chief emergency physician

• Registration/documentation of injuries

• Rescue service linkage between deployment site and command centre  
• TEL as command support for (fire brigade) officers in the field

• Tasks by demand

After our first few “baby steps”, we assume that our members will find the transition from the old software to CommandX very easy. 

Since we cover a wide range of tasks, we will try to integrate CommandX wherever possible.

We are looking forward to the various new functions and the intensive collaboration with the Eurocommand team!
